Education
Graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1980.
He spent five years in residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in orthopaedic surgery and then performed a one year spine fellowship in San Antonio, Texas. He returned to practice in Norman in 1986 and has been practicing general orthopaedics with an emphasis on spine surgery since then.

Dr. Harris has served as Chief of Staff at Norman Regional Hospital in 1994. He has also written several papers on medical subjects, including spinal cord injury in children.
